This is my new review game for vocabulary units. After students have studied their word, synonyms, and antonyms, I randomly give student a “piece of the pie”. They must find the other pieces and put the pie together.
We played it for the first time today. Some of the students seemed lost and confined so I was worried that they may not like the game. But, then pies came together and they sorted it out.
When I asked if they liked the game, they all shouted with a resounding yes. I am so glad this worked because I struggle with making up fun activities from time to time.
LOVE this and using it this week :) My kids are getting bored of the same vocab games we are doing (30 second drawings, memory, word webs…) and I think this will spice it up! Thanks!
